25/01/12 - Kane Singles Only Book in English - 'Can You Handle Me?' Chapter 4
Now that we are over Christmas and the New Year celebrations, I'm now back on track to giving you a new song each month. 'Can You Handle Me?' is the next chapter and the summary has been uploaded for your viewing from the translation. 27/12/11 - New Year, New Resolutions...
Dinand posted a blog today to announce that some members of the band will be leaving Kane. It's all for good reasons and it doesn't stop the process of album number 6, the one we all hope will make them International stars too. Read on for the translation (thanks to Jenny Edwards once more) of the blog which can be found on Kane.nl
As at the end of each year, there always comes a moment when we ask ourselves what we will be doing the next year and what we will possibly do together. The last four years we have, each to our own, managed to coordinate separate and joint plans, which led to a fantastic time, that started on a pontoon in Rotterdam on New Year’s Eve 2007.
Now at the end of 2011 we ask ourselves the same question as we do each year. This time we come to the joint conclusion that 2012 is going to be a different year. Different from a personal view and different in priorities. In short: it is time to let each other go.
Dennis, Robin and I are turning in a different direction for the sixth Kane album. Joost is, amongst other things, entering a busy year with his New Cool Collective. Nico is starting an intimate theatre tour with Angela Groothuizen and Ivo will focus more on his Herman Brood Academie.
However contrary to a carefully built Kane tradition in past times this time there will be no murder or manslaughter:-). We are proud of all the beautiful moments we experienced together. Happy also that we were able to find that with each other. It has been a beautiful time which we will bring to a suitable close during ‘De Vrienden van Amstel 2012’.
Back to Rotterdam one more time. Then everyone will continue on their own paths.
This is how it should be every so often. Letting go to continue. Without a doubt with a tear and a smile, but certainly with a great feeling about what is to come!

17/09/11 - Kane Singles Only Book in English!
The book that explains the meaning and background of each of the 24 singles that Kane released is an absolute best buy... except it is in Dutch (of course!). Fear not though with special permission each month I will along with a good friend Jenneke be bringing you small summaries from translations that have been done.

29/04/11 - Reflection after 3 awesome shows at Ahoy!
I've added my review hereof my experience of the 3 shows to support the 'singles only' release. To tie in with this release not only was there 3 amazing shows added but a book was released to co-incide with this. The book is an awesome masterpiece and can now be purchased from good Dutch book stores, but it is in Dutch. If anyone is still interested in purchasing one, drop me an email hereand I will give you the relevant information so you to can also be a proud owner of one.
Unfortunately I don't have pictures to share with you of the show this time, but I do promise that some are on there way via a good friend. BUT for now, there are some amazing shots from the lovely Laura Oldenbroek on Kane's official site here.
07/04/11 - Happy 7th Birthday Kane Rocks!
Kane Rocks celebrates it's 7th year online today! Woo hoo, party time!! As you can see I've had a bit of a spring clean to celebrate and given the site a bit of a face lift. 7 years have flown by but I've had some amazing memories and amazing times. Let's hope the next time we celebrate another year gone by it will include news of Kane and the UK in the same sentence. Thanks as always for your support to the site, I hope you stick around.

05/04/11 - Theatre Tour Round 2!
Kane announced today that they will be performing around the theatres of Holland for round 2! Due to the success of the tour in 2010, they are excited to be going for it again in the autumn.
